Renee, I found your "Top Five Ways" podcast very helpful. I especially like the thought about allowing the students to podcast their reflections about the literature that they have read. Some of my students find it difficult to write a report about the story they have read, but they can easily create a podcast that demonstrates their comprehension. The word of the day/week concept is also interesting. I could see that utilizing the podcast could make the task more interesting and as a result more memorable for the student (and isn't that the point of vocabulary assignments!).
